Privacy notice
Short version: we only collect what you send us, we use it to reply to you, and we don't track you.
Who we are
This website is run by Sam Wilson, trading as Doxel Studio, based in Buckinghamshire, UK. For anything about your data, email samuelw@doxelstudio.co.uk.
What we collect
When you fill in a form, we receive what you type: usually your name, email address, website address and message. We don't collect anything else about you.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to deliver the project. The lawful basis is legitimate interest, or taking steps toward a contract at your request. We never sell your details or add you to a mailing list.
Who else handles it
- Form submissions are processed by FormSubmit, which forwards them to our email.
- The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security.
Cookies and tracking
This site doesn't set cookies or use analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts are hosted on this site rather than loaded from Google.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Email us and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
